⊹ Performance @Okay Space/Athens/2024

Mom, post-internet is not a phase ;( was a group exhibition exploring the shifting relationship between humans and our digital landscapes. As part of the opening week, I presented a sound performance in dialogue with a projected YouTube playlist titled "Kids Doing Their Own Hair".

The performance combined found, recorded, and manipulated audio and live processing. The juxtaposition of self-styled beauty rituals and glitchy, fractured soundscapes dived into themes of digital agency, algorithmic influence, intimate yet chaotic acts of self-expression in online spaces, and the blurred lines between public and private spaces in internet culture.
